From stick to screen in 60 seconds

No subscriptions to configure, no straps or clips. Slide in the pod, pair, and play.

Assemble & Attach

The LaxPod is a thumb-sized module that slides into the butt end of your lacrosse stick — no modification needed.
Power on with a single button press. The LED flashes blue when it's advertising over BLE.
Charges via USB-C; indicator turns solid green when full.

Open the LaxForge app and navigate to the Sensor tab.
Tap Scan — the pod appears in the device list within seconds.
Tap Pair. The app subscribes to the pod's GATT characteristics and live data streaming begins immediately.

Choose Player (offensive) or Goalie (defensive) mode.
Hit Start Session. The pod streams 9-DOF motion data packets at 50Hz over BLE.
The Madgwick AHRS filter on the pod fuses accel + gyro + mag into quaternion frames before transmission — keeping latency under 50ms.

Each shot triggers a detection event on the phone using the acceleration spike profile.
The app captures the full shot arc — from backswing through release — and derives power (mph), wrist snap (ms), and release angle (°).
Optionally record with the camera to overlay sensor data on video.

AI score appears on screen within 1–2 seconds of release.
Tap any shot to see the full coaching breakdown: balance, release point, follow-through, body rotation.
Zone is marked on the 3×3 goal grid — manually or via computer vision analysis of the camera feed.

After the session, the summary screen shows aggregate stats: shots, avg power, accuracy, AI score.
Scrub through the 3D replay to see each shot's motion path reconstructed from quaternion data.
Stats sync to Firebase and are immediately available on the web dashboard.
